The Desktop Astro Clock, previously known as yabc (Yet Another Bedside Clock), serves as a versatile clock application designed for various settings, whether at a desktop, bedside, or next to a star map. This app provides a continual time display that remains active until the battery level drops below a user-defined threshold.

Users can choose from ten predefined display configurations and one customizable option. Tapping on the moon and star icon unveils a red-tinted clock that showcases local sidereal time. The settings allow for an engaging array of features, including a moon phase display, meteor shower information, color adjustments, and enhancements to the user-defined clock setup. Furthermore, this application now supports widgets that can be configured through an editing interface.

The inclusion of a watchOS app enhances the functionality, showcasing Modified Julian Date, GMT Sidereal time, Moon status, Moon name, and moon age in days—all displayed against a black background with adjustable brightness.
